Windows media technologies is incompatible

I was having this problem while trying to install Windoes Media Player, either version 9 or 10. I’m only trying to install them because After Effects, Encore and Premiere Pro are all having wmv issues while trying to start. The wmploc.dll fix worked, but I had to get the file off my laptop as my current XP install is an integrated SP2 one, and doesn’t have the \ServicePackFiles\ directory.
