The stupidest thing I have ever seen on the internet
I was trying to buy tickets for Ed Byrne last night after the comedy festival Gala. There must have been loads of people hitting the site as well as the “finding tickets” page kept timing out. Then I saw the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen on the internet:
The box office is closed. Please try again tommorrow.
THE INTERNET IS CLOSED, WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW FOR MORE INTERNETS

Ha! Man, I’ve seen shit like that.
With one place, I found out why: They had a system in place that would take your order and fax it to goddamn clerk, who would then type your order into the computer. It was, of course, offline if there was nobody to get the faxes.
